Global Broadcast Industry News caught up with Tomasz Kolaczyk, MD of Canare Europe to chat about the importance of trade shows and what he will be exhibiting at IBC 2021. we asked Tomasz to share his thoughts about IBC, trade shows in general and the controversy surrounding IBC 2021, here is what he said .

“It’s good to have a chance to finally talk to our customers face to face. After such a long period of time with only email, communicators or phones communication one can at last meet friends and customers.

Unfortunately current IBC will take place in the peak of Covid fourth wave and recent decision of IBC management  is hardly to accepted by majority of broadcast community. Yes we need a show, we need talks but not at every price. We have manage so far without exhibitions and personally I believe IBC did wrong to insist of December show. Let’s concentrate on better 2022.”
